Jay Z To Executive Produce New Movie Forty Acres

It was announced that Jay Z is set to Produce a new netflix thriller called “Forty Acres.” It was first reported by Deadline that Jay Z will be executive producing the thriller that is based on Dwanye Alexander Smith’s novel written in 2014 with the same name.

The film is reportedly still in development stages but it is apparently a mix between Jordan Peele’s 2017 hit “Get Out” & Tom Cruise's 1993 film “The Firm.” The film reportedly tells a story of a young black attorney who is confronted with issues of race and power as well as uncovering shocking conspiracies. It will be interesting to see how Jay Z and his team turn this classic novel into a full studio length film.
