The highly anticipated studio album had features from Nipsey Hussle, Post Malone, Ty Dolla Sign, Jhene Aiko, Dwele, Anderson Paak, Earlly Mac, Wale, Young Thug, Hit-Boy, Travis Scott, Key Wane, Diddy, Lil Wanye and more. The hip hop legend beat out 6ix9ine for the number one album, as he sold equivalent 100 thousand copies, according to Billboard. However, 6ix9ine did outsell Big Sean with pure album sales, Big Sean was able to accumulate enough streams equivalent to over 70,000 album sales.
This is Def Jam’s second number one album for the year following Justin Bieber, and it includes some of the best artists & producers in the game right now.In my opinion, Lithuania (feat. Travis Scott) is going to be the biggest track off the whole project.
Big Sean had some of his old school aesthetic on this project, similar to the free mixtape - Detroit, as his track Why Would I Stop? has that vibe that his fans have missed. This was a great project overall, and the response shows that it was most definitely worth the wait, as this project was one of 19 that sold 100,000+ copies first week.
