DDG x OG Parker 'Die 4 Respect' First Week Sales Revealed
DDG & OG Parker released their collaboration album “Die 4 Respect” over a week ago, on March 19th and the first week numbers are officially in, as they officially sold 9,000 copies in their first week. Although this may seem very disappointing, they were still able to outsell a few well known artists in Lil Reese & Smokepurp from albums in 2020. The album consists of 11 tracks on it with 8 features on the project coming from major artists such as NBA Youngboy, Lil Yacthy, Coi Leray, PnB Rock, Tyla Yaweh, 2KBABY, 42 Dugg, and Blueface.
One of the most popular songs off the album is his single “MoonWalking In Calabasas” featuring BlueFace which has 43 million views on YouTube since August of 2020 and 107 million streams on Spotify alone. Many fans are considering this a loss for the two artists, however, this is just the start of DDG’s rap career and he does have the talent to stay in the music industry. I believe many fans are forgetting that DDG is a professional YouTuber turned Rapper, similar to Jake Paul, Logan Paul, KSI and others, DDG was able to step into a new industry and still compete with other major artists.
