Tyler The Creator Talks About Taking The Number One Spot From DJ Khaled in 2019

Tyler The Creator’s Igor took the #1 spot from DJ Khaled after selling approximately 165k units first week opposing to Khaled’s approximate 135k units respectively. DJ Khaled publicly made his views known as he believed he was robbed of the number one spot stating “he’s not in the barbershop, the clubs, etc” & Tyler finally responded on Hot97.

Tyler stated ‘he watched a man died inside’ after taking that number one spot because the so-called underdog was able to succeed as Khaled’s whole persona is being the best & number one. Tyler then went on to state being in the barbershops and clubs isn’t the only way to get the number one album.
